Paris Jackson: biography
Paris Jackson is a beginning American model, actress, and singer. The young woman tries to take an active part in social life and prove herself as an independent person, but what people learn about her first is that she is Michael Jackson’s daughter.
Paris is the middle child among the musician’s three kids and the only daughter. The nurse Debbie Rowe who used to treat the man from vitiligo became her mother.
The would-be celebrity was born on April 3, 1998; the parents divorced the next year. Their marriage was more like a mock one, and the woman did not intend to take custody of the kids. After the divorce, she signed the documents and allowed Michael to take care of Paris and her elder brother, Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr. (Prince). Macaulay Culkin and Elizabeth Taylor were the girl’s godparents.
Paris spent the first seven years of her life at the Neverland ranch. Because of her dad’s debts, she did not inherit the childhood house. However, Paris told Daily Mail she had not given up on the chance to own it one day.
The young woman’s memories about her childhood and relationship with the father are warm. She says that Michael meant everything for her; when he was gone, the pain never faded away.
Little Paris was an emotional kid. She told the story about how Zac Efron broke her heart at The Tonight Show: the little girl dreamed of visiting the High School Musical Live show because the singer performed there. However, Efron was working on The Derby Stallion the day Jackson went to the program.
Michael’s sudden death in 2009 was a severe blow for his daughter. She not only lost the closest person in her life but also found herself at the center of the public attention with many flashing cameras. In 2010, she and her brothers gave an interview to Oprah Winfrey and described what their life without their dad was. The same year, Paris and Prince received Michael’s Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
14-year-old Jackson had to endure another tragedy: she was almost raped. No sooner than 2017 than the young woman dared to speak about it openly; she had tried to struggle against the trauma on her own. The burden was a way too heavy; in 2013, Paris had the third suicide attempt.
Later on, Paris was transferred to a therapeutic school in Utah and gradually recovered; the celebrity said she left the school a completely different person. The young woman’s father also had depression; he even took the same antidepressants as Paris did.
In 2012, People Magazine named the musician’s daughter the most beautiful teenager in the world.
After her father’s death, Jackson and her family wanted to film a documentary about him; a crowdfunding company was organized. However, the media and the artist’s fans were outraged by this money collection way, and Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson, canceled the project.
In 2017, Paris gave an interview to Rolling Stone and appeared on its cover. Besides, she shot for Teen Vogue, Stellar, and other popular editions; it was a good start for the modeling career. Jackson’s sizes are perfect for photos: her height is 5.84 feet (178 cm.), and her weight is 123.46 lbs. (56 kg.).
The same year, the celebrity signed contracts with IMG Models and Calvin Klein.
On January 20, 2018, Paris showed her social stand: she participated in the Los Angeles Women's March and appeared on the stage wearing a T-shirt with the print:
“We’re all immigrants”.
She read the letter addressed to Donald Trump and said boldly that she was sick and exhausted because of hating the president.
Despite her white skin and European look, Jackson identifies herself as a person of color and considers the black culture to be her native. Just like many celebrities, she uses social networks. She posts some facts about herself there; for instance, fans learned that Paris had more than 50 tattoos, most of which pertained to music and spiritual practices.
When Michael Jackson’s daughter was 16, tabloids speculated she was pregnant because the young woman did not drink alcohol in a café. Fans were outraged and emphasized the girl’s age: she could not consume alcohol until 21.
Paris used to date the soccer player Chester Castellaw. In spring 2015, the artist got a ring on her ring finger, and fans expected the couple to marry. However, the lovers split up in October.
The member of Street Drum Corps Michael Snoddy became Jackson’s next boyfriend in March 2016; they broke up in winter of the same year.
There are many rumors that Paris is dating the model: the celebrities are often seen together, and they post many pictures together on their blogs. Besides, on July 13, 2018, Jackson announced she was bisexual.
The paparazzi even took a picture of them kissing. Still, no official news about their romance followed.
Paris was never close to her mother, but she visited her in 2016 when Debbie Rowe was diagnosed with breast cancer and hospitalized.
