Cassadee Pope is a famous American singer, songwriter. She was the lead vocalist of the rock band Hey Monday, with whom she released one studio album and three EPs in 2011. Later she decided to focus more on her solo career and succeeded in it. It’s high time to get acquainted with Cassadee Pope!
Childhood and youth
Cassadee Blake Pope was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, on August 28, 1989. Her dad is Lenny Pope, her mother is Lori Pope. Also, Cassadee has a sibling Ashley Pope.
She studied at Wellington High School in Wellington, Florida. While studying there, young Cassadee with funny haircut alongside her close friend Mike Gentile created the music band Blake. However, the group's existence was not so long. In 2008, she, Gentile, Alex Lipshaw, Michael "Jersey" Moriarty, and Elliot James created the pop punk band Hey Monday.
Their first studio album named "Hold on Tight" was released in October 2008. Pope was an author of 9 collection's tracks. That time, the celebrity was invited to Fall Out Boy's video for "America's Suitehearts," from their 2008 album "Folie à Deux". Besides, she took part in the recording of The Cab's remix version of their song "Take My Hand" which was included in Fall Out Boy's mixtape, "Welcome to the New Administration."
In late 2009, James left the group. That time the band planned to release their first EP "Beneath It All." As a support of the collection, the band embarked on Warped Tour 2010.
January and February of 2012 were marked by Pope's first solo acoustic tour – in its setlist there were performances around the east and west coasts of the United States. In May of the same year, the musician published her debut self-titled EP (self-labeled). It consisted of 4 singles – the lyrics were written by Pope.
January 2013 brought the musician contract with country music label Republic Nashville. On May 31, 2013, Pope released the songs from her solo album "Distracted", "How I Feel Right Now" and "Wasting All These Tears." The latter got to the 37th place on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 7 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
In the first week after its release, Pope sold 125 000 copies. Her next album "Frame by Frame" pleased her fans in October 2013. In 2014 Cassadee toured the country alongside Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley. She also was featured on the "Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute to Mötley Crüe" album where she covered "The Animal In Me. "
That time Cassadee published track "I Am Invincible" from her second studio album. Late 2015 was marked by Pope's collaboration with Chris Young – they released the greatest hits "Eleven" and "Think of You" for the 2015 album "I'm Comin' Over." The latter topped the US Country Airplay chart in May 2016. The next year, Cassadee Pope performed in London, was invited to the C2C: Country to Country.
In June 2016 Cassadee added new EP "Summer" to the list of her projects.
In July 2016, Pope succeeded to sing the "Star Spangled Banner," the national anthem, before the NASCAR race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Shortly after, Pope and Chris Young got nominations for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their hit song "Think of You." It made Pope the first participant of The Voice who has been nominated for Grammy.
In May 2017, Cassadee and BMLG records parted ways.
On March 30, 2018, fans could listen to Pope's new single "Take You Home." Almost half a year later, in August, the musician released new track "One More Red Light."
On February 1, 2019, Pope released her second full-length studio album, "Stages." Also, this year Pope went on a tour. Her recent performance was held at The Underground Charlotte.

Cassadee Pope took part in an audition for season 3 of the singing competition The Voice. The talented celebrity grabbed the attention of all four coaches. Eventually, she joined Blake Shelton's team. In the third live round, Cassadee sang "Over You" written alongside her coach.
The track advanced to No. 1 on the iTunes chart, defeating Psy's "Gangnam Style." Remarkably, Pope happened to be the only female competitor who has reached the Top 4 round. There the singer performed with "Stupid Boy" by Sarah Buxton - it also finished 1st on iTunes. Besides, she sang Kelly Clarkson’s song "Behind These Hazel Eyes."
Pope succeeded to reach the finals and won the show.
Later she released an album compiling her performances on The Voice entitled "The Voice: The Complete Season 3 Collection." It peaked at No. 1 on the Heatseekers. Its sells' level during the first two weeks was evaluated at 20,000 copies.
In 2010, Cassadee Pope started a relationship with drummer Rian Dawson – he plays in the band All Time Low. The two got engaged in February 2017. In summer of the same year, Cassadee and Rian parted ways. Having split up with her boyfriend, Pope started writing a breakup song.
Since December 2017, Cassadee Pope has been romantically linked with British actor and musician Sam Palladio.
