The actress Nathalie Emmanuel gained international recognition for her role as Missandei in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones. The beautiful interpreter has secured a place in the hearts of millions through her iconic afro hair which has made her recognizable. Emmanuel was born on 2 March 1989 in Southend-on-Sea, a seaside resort town in Essex. Her formal name is Nathalie Joanne Emmanuel. Emmanuel is the second child of a half Dominican and half English mother, and a father of half-Saint Lucian and half English descent, which means the actress is of mixed ethnicity.
